Fantastic covers! The cover model definitely looks all Victorian no-nonsense. Can't wait to visit Toriana in August!
Thanks, B.C. -- I got very lucky with both, I think. :)
Woohoo! Both covers look wonderful! I want them!!!!!
Pre-ordering is a surefire way to get them. Not that I'm hinting, mind you. :)
Aren't they fabulous? The whole feel of them sells the books instantly as something I want to read and the steampunk is subtle and tantalising. I did think it odd though that in their write up before your piece, they say that the book is set in an alternative London as I was firmly convinced it's set in Victorian US. Congratulations Lynn, this has been some month for you huh?
Sorry about the inaccuracies in the write-up on that site, Fran -- I don't know who is responsible, but I imagine someone skimmed the copy instead of reading it properly.I have been very fortunate, I must say, and thank you. :)
Lovely covers! And I can´t wait to start reading!
Thanks, and we've only two and a half months to go! Somehow that feels a bit like eternity.
Those are fantastic!!! What a great job the artist did presenting a beautiful yet kick-ass heroine in Victorian-style garb. Her very stance indicates both power and femininity.
I thought the artist did a beautiful job balancing all the elements, too. Thanks, Diana.
oooooo..... great covers. I love them!
Thanks, Lisa. I really like the colors the artist used; I think they set the perfect mood for the stories.
Perfect covers! They fit with everything you've shown us so far and look wonderful.
Thanks, Theo -- I feel quite blessed, especially when I think about that pink book that I promised myself I would not mention in this post, ha.
