First Look

Here is the first look at the cover art for The Clockwork Wolf, due out in late February 2014. There's a lot to be happy about with this one; for me the stunners were the lighter color theme (we don't see that too often in urban fantasy or steampunk) and all the lovely little details, like Kit's gloves.

So what do you think? Let us know in comments.

  1. I've already commented over at PBW, but it's worth saying again how incredibly detailed, accurate and beautiful these covers are--all of them, including Lord Mayhem's.

This series is going to be one where I read it on my Kindle, but also must have it in book form.

    1. Lol, Deb. I don't know if I could wear a gown in these temperatures, but I'm definitely smitten with those gloves.

  3. I love it. I agree with you on the light colour, its superb and the detail is amazing. She looks very good in burgundy. I particularly like seeing the steampunk cogs hovering over the wolf's eyes, very dramatic.

    1. The art department at Pocket Star has really astounded me with the work they've done on this series, Fran. This is the first time in my career I've ever had three covers in a row that I haven't wanted a single thing about them changed, too.
